I lay in bed yesterday, tossing and turning, thinking about 2Purity. It's been such a wonderful year, so much ups and downs, it's da bomb. :D
The first thought I had when I was posted was: Okay, alright. Not too excited by it, but at the same time not very saddened by it. And then first day; I saw so many strange, unfamiliar faces. First impressions eh? Became close to ex one-loyaltians Charlyne Huizhen Sining Cheryl.
and the class were pretty unbonded
Then as the first term passed, things didn't change much. Save for the fiesta, which was an activity which really tested our unity and bonding. And with that we grew closer (:
Second term; not much. Can't think of anything that happened. Oh, was I right that RuiYi left? Particularly missed her. Then third term; got closer to the Tau-gang, which is absolute loveee. Did so many things tgt, ate tgt, played tgt, talked tgt, gossiped tgt. Our interests were very much common. I don't know, but it's one of the few cliques that really remains strong in our class :D And also, grew closer to many classmates as well :)
Fourth term: Was really uptight about eoys, academics, more than ever if you ask me. Well, I guess I'm very very concerned about my academics and all that. I'm not an exception anyway; the whole class was like in this state where we used every single spare time we had to study. Which was rather scary, cos I was really freaked out by the competitiveness and the determination by some to get into triple science.
We shared everything as a class, be it whether the cheering during Sports Carnival, or when we didn't really win anything during inter-class competitions, and we unanimously groaned when assignments were being handed out to us, and we all laughed as one whole class at MrsNath antics, and when we poked fun at LWW for his lame and stupid jokes; even those last few days leading up to eoys when we mugged like nerds. We only wore the class teeshirt once, but the memories we had-- limitless. We didn't cry today; at least I didn't and I didn't see. In fact, we should smile because it had happened, and cherish those memorable moments where we shared. We had our fair share of troubles, and like what Karon said, we're all winners at heart. Don't cry cos it's over; smile because it happened. Indeed, Im sad that 2Purity has ended, but it's inevitable. When we meet each other in the future, greet and smile! :D It's the memories that count, and it's priceless. And now; when those reminiscencse come back, how I wish I was still sectwo.
